Morocco’s pharmaceutical industry has reached a new milestone with the arrival of its first pharmaceutical exports to the Russian market. Galenica announced the shipment of its first batch of medicines to Russia after fulfilling all regulatory and technical requirements imposed by the Eurasian Economic Union.
This achievement makes Galenica the first Moroccan, Arab and African pharmaceutical laboratory authorized to market its products within the Eurasian Economic Union, which includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The Russian Trade Mission in Morocco confirmed the arrival of the first Moroccan pharmaceutical shipment, describing it as the result of years of investment in upgrading production facilities and complying with international Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory standards.
This expansion reflects Morocco’s strategy to strengthen its pharmaceutical sovereignty, diversify high-value exports and reinforce the international competitiveness of its healthcare industry, while opening new opportunities for Moroccan pharmaceutical products in strategic foreign markets.
